Cats for Adoption

How to adopt

Most of our cats and kittens available for adoption are pictured below, or posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages! Please click the icons below to be taken to our pages, and please contact us if you would like more information about any of our cats. We will be happy to tell you all about them! We will have more photos and sometimes videos too, so please feel free to ask!

All of our cats and kittens are vaccinated and microchipped, and all cats over 7 months old are also neutered / spayed. Most of our cats are based in our shelter in Romania and are brought to the UK upon receiving home offer.

If you’d like to offer one of our lovely cats a place in your family, please get in touch! You can contact us via our contact page, by email at info@pawsfornewbeginnings.co.uk, or via our Facebook and Instagram pages. We will be more than happy to talk you through our adoption process and arrange a home visit. When that’s all done, we can make arrangements for your new family member to travel home to you.

We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible! In most cases, we respond to messages and emails within 48 hours, but during busier periods, this may take slightly longer.

ZARA – This beautiful girl is Zara and she needs a forever home after her elderly owner sadly passed away. Zara is around 3 years old, is used to living with other cats and dogs, she is timid to start with but so friendly when she gets to know you.
EFFIE – Beautiful girl Effie is looking for her forever home. A team member regularly feeds her but the neighbours are starting to complain and want to throw her away. Effie is around 2 years old, good with other cats and is lovely and friendly.
QUEENIE – This lovely kitty is looking for her permanent home. A team member regularly feeds her but the neighbours are starting to complain and want to throw her away. Queenie is around 2 years old, good with other cats and is very sweet.
HENRY – Handsome Henry rescued himself in 2023, along with his brother Louis! He showed up at the shelter, and decided he would quite like to stay until we find him a home of his own. Henry is around 1 year old now, and is very friendly with adults, children and other cats. He’s also used to living around dogs!
LOUIS – Lovely boy Louis rescued himself in 2023, along with his brother Henry! He showed up at the shelter, and decided he would stick around until we find him a forever home. Louis is around 1 year old now, and is very friendly with people – adults, children – and other cats. He’s also used to living around dogs!
LILY – Lily is a gentle girl who needs a second chance and a special home.
She has been diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis. At the moment, the only symptom she has is noisy breathing.
While this sounds frightening, Lily is otherwise comfortable and content, and closely monitored.
Because of this, Lily will need a calm, stress free home where she can be kept warm, relaxed, and away from any hustle and bustle. She is around 3-4 years old. She isn’t a high-energy cat – all she needs is peace, and someone who will simply let her be comfortable.
SABREENA – This little girl was found helpless and crying in a supermarket carpark by one of our team. She was very thin, missing a piece of her ear, and her tail didn’t seem quite right either. She’s all good now, safe , warm, fed and finally being cared for. Sabreena is 10 months old, friendly with cats and dogs. We’re looking for an indoor only home for Sabreena.
SUZY – This sweet girl was once part of a family but found herself homeless and struggling on the streets after her owner passed away. She was covered in parasites and suffering from a painful urinary infection. Fortunately, she’s now in a foster home receiving all the love and care she needs, but she’s still searching for her forever family. Suzy is about 5 years old, extremely friendly, and affectionate. She’s eager to find a family of her own!
