Cats for Adoption

How to adopt

Most of our cats and kittens available for adoption are pictured below, or posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages! Please click the icons below to be taken to our pages, and please contact us if you would like more information about any of our cats. We will be happy to tell you all about them! We will have more photos and sometimes videos too, so please feel free to ask!

All of our cats and kittens are vaccinated and microchipped, and all cats over 7 months old are also neutered / spayed. Most of our cats are based in our shelter in Romania and are brought to the UK upon receiving home offer.

If you’d like to offer one of our lovely cats a place in your family, please get in touch! You can contact us via our contact page, by email at info@pawsfornewbeginnings.co.uk, or via our Facebook and Instagram pages. We will be more than happy to talk you through our adoption process and arrange a home visit. When that’s all done, we can make arrangements for your new family member to travel home to you.

We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible! In most cases, we respond to messages and emails within 48 hours, but during busier periods, this may take slightly longer.

LILY – Lily is a gentle girl who needs a second chance and a special home.
She has been diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis. At the moment, the only symptom she has is noisy breathing.
While this sounds frightening, Lily is otherwise comfortable and content, and closely monitored.
Because of this, Lily will need a calm, stress free home where she can be kept warm, relaxed, and away from any hustle and bustle. She is around 4 years old. She isn’t a high-energy cat – all she needs is peace, and someone who will simply let her be comfortable.
EFFIE – Beautiful girl Effie is looking for her forever home. A team member in Romania now fosters her, and she’s doing well after a lifetime of struggling on the streets. Effie is around 3 years old, good with other cats and is lovely and friendly.
LOUIS – Lovely boy Louis rescued himself in 2023, along with his brother Henry! He showed up at the shelter, and decided he would stick around until we find him a forever home. Louis is around 3 years old now, and is very friendly with people – adults, children – and other cats. He’s also used to living around dogs!
SKYLA – Skyla is around 8 years old and currently receiving treatment for polyps in her ears. She is deaf, but she navigates life beautifully and loves people just the same. She’s a gentle, affectionate girl who absolutely adores comfort, naps, and being pampered. Despite everything she’s been through, Skyla is still so trusting and loving. She just wants a peaceful home where she can finally feel safe and cherished.
DOTTIE – Dottie is a beautiful young girl, under 2 years old, who was found straying and desperately hungry. Thankfully she was rescued and is now safe – but she is still waiting for a home.
Dottie has sadly been diagnosed as FIV+, which sadly often means cats like her are overlooked. The truth is that Dottie is currently happy, healthy, and has no symptoms at all. She is affectionate, gentle, and absolutely loves human company – she just wants to feel safe and loved.
FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives, and Dottie has so much love to give to the person who gives her a chance.
LEO – When Leo and his sister were rescued from the streets of Romania, we hoped they would both soon find the loving homes they deserved. A few months ago, Leo watched his sister leave for her forever home, but poor Leo is still waiting.
Leo is around 1 year old and is a gentle, sensitive boy who takes a little time to trust new people. He is good with cats and dogs.
HONEY – Meet Honey, a super friendly, loving and affectionate cat, who is now looking for her forever home. She is around 1 year old, and was found as a stray, with a limb injury that resulted in the loss of a toe. She has now recovered and would love a family of her own.
