Meet the team

Catalina Patrascu – Catalina is a member of our Romanian team, working on adoptions, as well as keeping our Facebook page updated with all the latest rescue news, dogs and cats for adoption and fundraising posts. She’s also very involved in day to day operations in Romania, including hands on rescuing, weekly vet and shelter visits, and helping strays locally.

Debbie Rawlinson – Debbie is a member of our UK team, and one of our directors. As well as liaising with our veterinary partners in Romania, she also provides post adoption support to adopters when it’s needed most.

Bethan Evans-Abraham – Bethan is part of our UK team, and one of our directors. She helps with adoptions, website updates, transport arrangements, other general admin, bookkeeping and compliance.

Lauren Crump – Lauren is a member of our UK team. She is a keen emergency fosterer, and does a lot of work on adoptions, helping to answer adoption enquiries that come in via social media and email. She also helps with secondary database updates.

Emily May Strong – Emily is part of our UK team, and works mainly on adoptions. She helps with everything from adoption enquiries, pre adoption screening calls, to post adoption support and the bits in between. She also helps with providing our veterinary partners the information needed ahead of the dogs’ brucellosis testing.

Jane Hegarty – Jane is a member of our UK team. She keeps our database up to date, making sure all the most important details of every animal are recorded, from intake information to adoption updates. Jane also helps out with adoption when demand requires an extra pair of hands.

Sabina Prunescu – Sabina is part of our Romanian team. Sabina and her Mum foster dogs and cats when they’re struggling in kennels, and while they wait for their forever homes. She offers pre and post adoption support for all the animals she fosters for as long as it’s needed.

Tiffany Mitchell – Tiffany was once part of our UK team, until she moved back to her native Canada a few years ago. Thankfully, she didn’t leave us and still supports the rescue, runs our Instagram page, and is the creative behind most of our reels and videos.

Dadiada Dumitrescu – Dadiada is a member of our Romanian team, and works closely with our veterinary partners, making sure our animals receive proper care, and ensuring we receive invoices and other information as needed. She also helps with all the practical travel preparations, such as arranging vaccinations, microchipping and passport preparation.

Of course, our team doesn’t really end there.

We are incredibly lucky to have lots of other kind and dedicated people who give their time and support to us in so many different ways.

From helping with fundraising projects and carrying out home checks, to lending a hand with transport runs, sharing our posts and helping behind the scenes, every little bit of help makes a big difference.

We couldn’t do what we do without lots of helping hands, and we are thankful for each and every one.
